Clearly there is something ineffable about music, and clearly there things about music which cannot be imparted or rationally understood, but the babbling incoherent moron in this video does a truly superb job of making NOTHING understood!! His mind may have been present at one point in his life, but it is surely gone in this video. My advice to you if you wanna learn the blues harp is to look at a good spread of you tube videos. Let them teach you. But don't rely on this weirdo's ramblings to be in any way pedagogical.

This review is about the previous version, True Image 11 Home. I am putting it here as a warning to other would-be buyers.

My motherboard died, and took the video card with it. After replacing both, the PC would POST and open the Windows splash screen, but then a blue screen flashed on and the PC rebooted (too fast to read the screen), and repeated the cycle until I hit the power switch. Eventually I gave up and reloaded Windows (XP Pro sp2), successfully.

Then, rather than reinstalling and reconfiguring all my programs, a several-day job, I tried to use my most recent True Image 11 Home image stored on an external USB hard drive. Trying to run it from the boot CD, and selecting the full backup image from a USB drive, I got:

"The selected partition contains the following error: run list corrupted. Please note that you cannot change the file system and size of this partition. It is recommended that you check these partitions after restoration with your operating system disk tools."

Oddly, it did offer to restore the image to the USB drive from which I was trying to read it.

On the Acronis on-line forum, I found someone else had gotten the "run list corrupted" message, and he was advised to CHKDSK c: /r on the C drive. I did so, but it did not help.

I added my problem to the thread over three weeks ago, and so far have heard back not a word. I bit the bullet a restored my PC tediously from scratch. I did NOT re-install True Image. Why bother? What good is a drive image if you can't restore it? It's like having car insurance and not being able to make a claim. I just wish I hadn't bought 3 copies for my 3 PCs. I don't know if the other 2 installations would work, but I'm not inclined to find out. A big waste of money.

This will fix shoes with rubber/plastic soles that crack, but are still serviceable otherwise. Just fill it in with the Goo - it's like new.

I bought this toy because it is supposed to help develop children's motor skills. My niece loved it, but she used the beads as building blocks instead of trying to put the strings through them.

This is a great toy for small motor skills and eye-hand coordination, it's also fun to play with! The colors are really bright and the different shapes are interesting. My daughter is 23 months and she is able to lace all the beads on and "count" them. The only thing I could smack on is the hard plastic end of the laces. The plastic is shorter than the length of the holes in the blocks. So my daughter was having a bit of a difficulty getting the lace into the block and then grabbing the end to pull the lace through the hole. I extended the lace ends with tape, and that took care of that little issue. You get two laces and the 27 beads along with the wooden box. I actually store the beads and laces in a clean coffee tub, it's much easier to throw everything in there. All in all I am super happy with this toy, I had high expectations for it and was not disappointed.

Shapes, colors, and designs are great! Colorful toys like this are so inviting. This toy leaves room for creativity as the child is ready.

If you are looking for a toy that inspires creativity, this may be a good choice, especially for quiet times when the weather prohibits going outside or when you just want the children to play quietly together.

The children learn hand/eye coordination without being `judged' on how they do.

Will they last forever? Probably not. I'm not sure how optimistic I can be about keeping all the parts in the little storage box, but I believe this toy is a valuable teaching toy nevertheless.

Check the age recommendation, as always.

I love the Melissa and Doug's Deluxe Wooden Lacing Beads I recently purchased for my 20 Month old grandaughter. She watches me when I am beading necklaces, and always wants to help. Now she can make her own beaded necklaces that are both eye catching, because of the bright colors, and easy to make. As an educator, I see value in the number matching and pattern making skills that we can also develop using the beads as she gets older. LOVE THEM! Kathy

If your looking to back-up your computer or just a few files, the software required does't get any better than this. I've used
Acronis for several years and it has never failed to do what i need of it.

I bought this to clone the hard drives in my windows home server (server 2003) to larger disks.
The software attempted to copy the partitions onto the new drives but could not read the data and ended with errors.

I got this for my son who is four (loved playing with it) Also my 16 months age daughter loved holding the bead ofcourse she can't put them thru the lace yet. My son got the concept down fast. But paint job is horiable. It lookS bright and colorful but paint comes off.
NOT GOOD. In two days after we had this I had to return it.
Also lace are long, if you have youger ones keep an eye on them because they or their other siblings can tie a lace around a neck which is a BIG Problem. ANYWAY PAINT COMES OFF you can SEE THE PLAIN WOOD INSIDE.
IT DOESN'T LOOK GOOD.
