Add me to those who are satisfied with this software. I find it easy to navigate and easy to enter data. With a little time investment you can learn a few shortcuts to enter data even faster. It prints results in many different formats and exports data as mentioned. I like the report of how each person is related to you. I'm happy I went with Reunion 9.

The reason I bought the Reunion desktop software was because the company is selling an add-on application that allows you to carry your family tree information on the iPhone and iTouch. This is a wonderful feature that enhances my ability to do genealogy research without hauling my laptop everywhere. The app gives you the ability to synch data with the desktop app. I bought that app for an additional $16 and used it for a couple of weeks. It worked well until I updated my iTouch with the new OS 3.0. Then it stopped working. When looking at the Reunion software support site, they are well aware of the problem and indicated they are waiting for Apple to approve their new version of the app. But I see no reason, considering the extra charge for this app for them not to have had this fixed prior to the OS release. I am still waiting and can't use Reunion on my iTouch. This wouldn't have been as painful had this company included the app as part of the desktop software or offered a discount to purchase it when you purchased Reunion. The iTouch app won't work without the desktop app and that is the sole reason I bought the desktop app. So at the moment my purchase of this software was wasted. The desktop app also has it's limitations on transferring a GEDCOM file. I had to reformat most of my notes as they didn't transfer properly. It is too bad images can't be transferred with the GEDCOM, but I imagine this is a limitation of the GEDCOM format and not Reunion. At any rate, I am giving Reunion a much lower rating than I would like to, because they are so darn greedy to charge additional for an app that they knew would not work with the Apple OS 3.0 and yet didn't warn customers. They are greedy because they should have included the iPhone/iTouch app with the desktop package and for not having the overpriced app ready for Apple's OS upgrade which was announced last year. Many other software companies were in the same predicament, but were able to update their apps in a punctual fashion so that their users weren't inconvenienced. But this software company apparently waited too long to update their software and now their customers are holding the bag. Also, why doesn't Amazon offer a software download option to purchase this software - the software manufacturer offers this on their website if you want to buy it directly from them.

Waste of money. Program is so dated, very tedious, confusing, boring and bland. Hard to believe this is a MAC program. Price is way over the top and overall not good value. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE.
I bought IFAMILY FOR LEOPARD-that gets a definite WOW from me.
Don't waste your money on Reunion, buy ifamily for leopard.

It is not as user friendly as I thought it would be, from information that I had read.
